Some 22RE lessons learned (the hard way...)

Sharing some of my recent learnings as not enough posts on here have closure on the final fixes...

#1 Vacuum leaks can manifest themselves in many ways on the 22RE. For as stout as it is, silly little vacuum leaks can create all sorts of symptoms and leave you troubleshooting everything else. Do a smoke test any time you're experiencing an issue.

#2 After going over parts repeatedly and everything checking out, I could not figure out why I was running so rich. It turns out that in rare instances, if your charcoal canister goes bad (becomes saturated), it can cause a rich situation. Not very common, but worth exploring. Mine was fighting me starting and backfiring. I disconnected the canister and it all resolved instantly.
