smoke, gurgle, what the...

So my intermittent cylinder has finally decided to get regular on me. At every startup, warm or cold, I have one cylinder that does not fire (judging by the white plug it gets no gas, but maybe im wrong) and once I start driving it and it goes for about 20 seconds, it hesitates a few times, kind of sputters and gurgles, then is totally fine. No problems from then on, though when I'm idling it's a tiny bit rough and seems like the problem might come and go then.

Also, it has happened twice where, along with those symptoms, it blows tons of smoke out of the tailpipe, seems like its white in color to me, then once it goes through its little hiccup deal, the smoke is totally gone. Oil level has remained constant through all this crap, though the slow and steady leak of coolant from my heater core could be aggravating all of this.

I've described my issue the best that I can. Does this sound like an intermittent injector/ EGR combo issue? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Can of worms. A cylinder doesn't work because of no fuel, no fire, or no compression. You have to address all three. Check for spark. Then check compression. Then check your injector. If you need specific help just PM me or post and I'll get back to you. Or search and I'm sure you'll fnd information.

White smoke is either from water or coolant. Blue is oil. Black is carbon. Fix up that heater core or bypass it so you can check to see if coolant is getting past the head gasket.

I'd also check the leak down of the injectors. Pull the suspect injector out but keep it hooked up to the rail. Set a piece of white paper down under it. Cycle the key to build pressure in the rail and walk away. See if your injector has leak down. What you described above can happen if your injector is dripping out fuel when it's not suppose to. Esentially you're flooding one cylinder.

Re-post and let us know what you find.

I bet you have a leaking injector too. White smoke can also be raw gas built up in the cylinder.
