Slight Lag

Hello everyone! This is my first post here. Just purchased a 94 4Runner SR5 V6 4X2 and I'm having a slight problem with it!

In the morning when I go to drive the car it is perfectly fine. After a few miles down the road when I come to a complete stop and then take off again the motor rev's quite a bit and moves slowly getting up to speed. This happens in and out all through the day. I have recently given the car a tune-up including all new fluids. Does anyone know of the problem or maybe had the same problem?

Anyone in bay area (nor cal) that can possibly take a look at it?

Thanks guys!
-Dave

You said you replaced all of the fluids. Did this problem exist before, or did it start after the tune-up?

Is the transmission fluid level spot on, following the proper sequence? (Whatever the manual says - probably at operating temperature, vehicle level, in park (or neutral?), motor running, etc.)

If the fluid and level are all ok, you might have a problem with the torque converter.

Problem existed before the tune up. I thought it may be a simple fix and went with a complete tranny flush. Everything is dead on with the tune up. Ill have to bring it to the local tranny guy and have him take a look at it.

Thanks for all the help!
