Skinnier tires, better ride?

Hey folks, I've got a 2wd toyota truck and its got 215/70/14's on it now and need replacing. The OEM tire is supposed to be a 195/75/14, will this size be better for ride quality than the 215/70's? I know it will be better for gas mileage a bit but how about the ride? thanks..

Steering will be different....a little. Slightly more responsive.
