I have a 1992 3.0L and I have now the factory black plastic Runners, I want to get something like the GMC trucks have, crome with the plastic step area, It is like a crome tube. Anyone have any pics to see what it would look like before I make a mistake? I don't want to take the factories off and not be able to get them on right again...

those are called nerf bars and are 100% useless for off roading. and they are $$, look at some sliders

they arnt useless if u do what i did i plated the ends and welded the plates to the frame lol
