Right, I used a drill press to drill a new hole and elongate the other two. Make sure to measure it out a couple times, for both sides. I made the mistake of assuming the pattern would be the same, just mirrored, on each side. For some reason my passenger side mirror mount is different than the drivers...maybe it was replaced? I probably won't do the wiring until the weather shapes up, it's just no fun working in 20 or less temps.

Here's a question for you guys. I currently have a Toyota switch for my Hella 300s, simple on-off. I'd like to be able to control both the 300s and 500s from one switch, a switch that has 4 selections (Off, Just 300s, Just 500s, Both). Any ideas for a new switch that would fit nicely in the same place?

The problem I have seen with mounting lights up high on the mirrors or on the roof is they light up your hood as well, ruining your night vision. My firend had mirror mounted lights on his Jeep and I hated them for this reason.
Kinda cool mod though.

Sorry not wired yet...spring break is coming up though, hmmmm.
Yeah I've heard about that problem. I figure I'll have em turned out a little, away from the truck, to minimize the hood reflection.

this might sound dumb but i think what has alot to do with the reflection from the hood is how tall you are bc i am not too tall and when i am sitting down i cant see very much of the hood at all so it doesnt really matter how much it reflects
i have 4 warn spot lights on my roof rack and i have no reflection when they are on
what do you guys think
