i have a guy who has an 84 yota pu and he wants to buy my bench seats out of my 87. will these seats fit his 84?

bench seats? How do you have more than one bench seat in your truck?

 

Should fit no problem 84-88 were the same for all the pick-ups (2nd gen.). The only possible hang -up might be if it was an 83 (1st gen style) sold as a very early 84 but that will probably not have occured. You should be good to go for the sale.
