I put sliders on my '01 Tacoma. They are amazing when you take that thing deep off road. I highly reccomend getting a set, cause they are just plain awesome.

Not really, supposedly the demand for running boards is pretty high.
Maybe resale value?

I think 4-runners need the running bars. I wouldn't want to be without mine. Just a different view.

LOL, my daughter was just complaining that if I took ours off she couldn't get in it. I told her she just needs to grow a few inches taller. Front seat is no problem, but that back seat is too much for her.

You will be much happier not having those running boards on there, they just get in the way. Kinda of like my rear bumper used to.

I think the Runner's look 100% better without the running boads on there. I did the same thing with my truck. All forms of running board/mud flap had to go on all my trucks.

I definately think sliders are in my near future!

I dunno, I have mine on only so I can wash the roof of my truck. Assuming I ever washed it.

Looks good. I'm yanking mine off this week as it is. Anyone that wants a set in MD, PM me, or I'll just take 'em to the dump.

I got about $120 for mine when I sold them on ebay, had to go through the trouble of shipping them to Puerto Rico (at the buyer's expense) though.
