racks are another story, too much to talk about. but i did see chris(slosurfer)'s rig this weekend, he had a Thule rack, which very very nice, much better in terms of fit than my ol' Yakima SST's.
Well I guess Im lookin for a basket since my 4runner has a rack on it already. I want something I can atttach somelights to and throw some luggage etc etc up there.

Baskets are safer for those times you have to restrain people in them , less chance of them slipping out

these are recent pics from superlift orv, saline river, etc..
i built the roof rack myself and put canoe bars on top. I put two ipf lights on front and had some sweet 3" lights on the front corners but i dropped one and the glass lens lost to pavement. One picture is actually when a chain broke and went down the side of the runner. I have fixed that already, but you can see the rack kind of close. Hope you guys like the pictures. Oh, i have a small shovel up top, but i keep the hi lift inside of the truck.

I dont post here often, so im going to add, I just lifted a 07 fj and have the factory rear springs forsale. Make me an offer if you are interested.

Does anyone if the roof ra... er .. basket from Costco can be installed on a 1st gen Runner? For 75 bones, that's hard to beat.. even if it IS a basket.
