ring and pinion gear 3rd member
so today i found out that my ring and pinion gear in my 93 4runner is completely chewed up and no good.
so im looking for a new 3rd member for my truck so if anyone has one and would like to sell it id greatly appreciate it

Sorry, I've got 4.56. But here's what I would do, and what I DID do...
I had the same problem 3 months ago. I swapped my open diff for an e-locker. You'll spend a little more than you would just replacing the 3rd... but it will be more than worth it. In fact, the salvage yard here in town has 3 4.30 e-locker 3rd members for sale for $450. You could probably get 'em to ship it for about 50 bucks or find one locally for less.

I have a 3rd from an 88 4R which should have the 4.30 gears in it since it's an auto. It's from a 3.0-V6 so it has the 4 spiders in it. I don't know if it will fit.
