Removing tar boards
Anybody have any tips for removing the tar boards in the back of my 4Runner? I'm currently just using a razor and thought about heating it up from underneath then using it. Also, thought about using my air chisel.

I used my air chisel for majority of the removal but now have little bits leftover so I am doing an experiment. I sectioned the area off into 3 and used WD40 on one, Goo Gone on another and Oops on the third. Now all are soaking and I will do a write up with pics as soon as I'm done.

Yup. In florida, when we'd come back from the beach and have tar all over our feet, my dad would always use WD-40 to get it off. He always had some in his car for this. Besides, wd-40 is better on the skin than acetone or goo gone.
