Removing hub, axle spinning

Hi, I am trying to replace the rotors on my 87 4runner, with manual locking hubs, I have to faceplate of the hub removed and I'm trying to remove the bolt behind it, but the axles are spinning when I try to do that, is there a way to hold them? Or some other trick to getting it off?

Put a 17mm box-end wrench on one of the 6 flange bolts that hold the CV shaft to the differential output shaft, and let the wrench hit up against the frame. That'll keep the shaft from turning. Don't worry about accidentally loosening the flange bolt - they're on really tight.

With the parking brake on and the opposite wheel on the ground, put the truck in 4x4 and lock the opposite hub.

Or use an impact wrench.

Did this, worked great, thanks for the suggestions. Suprised I didn't think of this one myself. Thought about locking the other hub, but then how would I get that bolt out? Either way got to rotors done. Rest of the job was pretty easy.
