removing complete ADD system?
I have a 1995 3.0 pickup. It has the ADD system on it. I would like to completely remove everything associated with it, including actuator, vacuum lines, and the parts from the driver side axle tube.
I'll be pulling the engine to rebuild it (rod knock), and I'll be removing the parts then. I have a 1989 pickup with manual hubs. I guess I could use parts from that diff, but the 89 has 4:10 and the 95 has 4:56. (I'll be using 4:56).
Can I just unbolt the diver side axle tube from the 89 front diff and bolt it to the 95 diff? I'll use the hubs from the 89, but I also have hubs from a 83 pickup. SA hubs wont work on a IFS frontend, correct?

Have you read this write up:

I did this on my previous 4Runner and it worked great. Seems like a lot less hassle than swapping.
