Hey guys couple questions for ya.

First off truck is a 93 pickup with a 22re

Well I was tired of looking at the maze of vacuum lines so I dug right in.

Now I have removed all the lines from the tb except the vent for vc and the other one running over by the dizzy. What is that one anyway>

Also all lines from the metal tubing between the intake and vc are removed.
Removed these also.

Now before when I first started the truck it ran fine but when warmed up it got choppy at idle. Well now it runs just fine. Odd maybe one of them sensors was bad?

Now questions are on the evap can the line for the tank vent. Can i just cap that off? Or will it build pressure?I dont have emissions here so I can do away with it.

The egr valve. Can I remove it and block it off?
Or is there another intake I can swap on?
And lastly what the heck is the thing in the red circle?
