Thanks, but I don't have the gauge, and was seriously considering bypassing the ABS actuator anyway. BTW, routing my lines around that unit wouldn't cause any further problems, if a new MC doesn't give me rear brakes and things come to that, would it?

My bad. Mine is an '87 and is w/o ABS so I could not reference anything. Wow are those way more complicated than they need to be. Back in the day, I was the rear ABS engineer for Kelsey-Hayes and it (plus all of the licensed copies meaning all US built vehicles) were as described above....just a high tech dump valve.
