Remote start - Heater & controls do not work when remote started?
Well I just finished installing a relay for the clutch switch so that the remote start system will work. Everything works fine the truck remote starts without a problem and runs.
However the heater/blower and the majority of the center console does not work when the truck is remote started. It seems that the key has to be in the "ON" position for the heater and gauges to work? I am so pissed at the moment, what is the point of having a remote start if you cannot run the heater?
The system is a Ultra start 2256M (made for manual vehicles) does anyone else have this issue?
Thanks

ACCESSORY or 2nd STARTER." Can I just hook this wire up to a wire that is powered in the "ON" posistion? will this fix the problem, currently the second ignition white wire is not hooked up.

Ok well I went back and went over everything again and also compared all the alarm wires to 12volt.com and I had the alarm blue wire hooked up to the trucks 2nd ingnition source(black/red wire). So I moved the alarms blue wire to the trucks primary ignition source (black/yellow) and I hooked up the white wire to the 2nd ignition source (black/red) However I did not move the jumper I left it alone. It all works great now.
I must have read the jumper part wrong, I thought if you moved the jumper it would send the output to the 2nd ignition source first instead of the first ignition source.
Should I disconnect the white wire?
Thanks for all of your help
