Is a 2wd relay rod the same as a 4wd? Mine is bent on my truck and i have acces to a 2wd parts truck.

I have an '87 4x4 and an '88 4x2. The relay rods are different on each of them. The 4x2 truck has the ball joints in the relay rod, while the 4x4 has the ball joints in the idler and pitman arms. I checked rockauto.com, and it appears to be the same for '93 trucks.

There's a recall on the relay rod.
The dealer should replace it for free if it applies.
