rear wiper problem

rear wiper problem
i have a 95 4runner and have recently been experiencing some problems with the rear wiper and rear defogger. the rear window will go up and down with no prob. but neither the wiper nor the defogger will work when turned on. if anyone has experienced this problem before please let me know what can be done to fix it.
