I know the rear fenders are cut lower then the front but it is sagging, you can tell..

As for normal. Yes, that is normal. Leaf springs flex in an arc. As the spring flexes, it lengthens. Hence the reason you have shackles. You are pushing the spring negative when you are fully flexed, which pulls the axle back towards the front of the truck. As you go up, it goes rear ward, till the spring is flat, then frontward as the spring goes negative. Mine used to do that with 12.50's, it doesn't with 9.50's.

I have been under the impression that letting one's leaves go negative is a no-no.

Something about flattening or de-arching the springs over time. Although a spring going negative would explain the forward movement your are experiencing.

If it is true that springs shouldn't go negative, you should probably address the position of your bumpstops so that won't happen under full stuff.

If I am wrong... then just ignore this post completely and enjoy the max travel your new shackles will allow you.

 

The wheel only rubs probibly a few mm. So im pretty sure with the shackles, that will be fixed
