rear seat backrest fold knob

The seat backs in my 4runner have those threaded plastic knobs on them, which you need to pull to fold the backrest down.. Mine are starting to crack, and every time I have to fold the seats down, I cringe just a little bit

I went to my Yota dealership and the knobs are back ordered.. and no idea when more are coming..

So I'm looking for replacement knobs before I break one off in the backrest..

So guys, show me your knobs. Uhh, seat back folding knobs.

Sometimes canadian Tire has generic parts like that. Or check your local Honda or Nissan dealer, you'd be surprised how often the Japanese manufacturers share parts. Or check a wrecker yard. I think the 3rd gen ones are the same so try for a late 90s or 00-02 vehicle.

I'll check CT and other stores like that.. I don't want to grab from the wrecker, cause the knobs will prolly be just as bad as mine..

Those "8 ball" door lock knobs might work, I guess I just have to figure out the thread pattern of it..
