Rear left corener (driverside) bed is hot from the exhaust

Has anyone had this issue where the rear driver side of the bed gets extremely hot from the factory exhaust system? I took out my bed liner to find it slightly melted and a small hole in the bed. I'm thinking i need to relocate the exhaust.

Hey, this just happened to me too. Except my exhaust isn't stock. Can a too rich mixture cause the muffler to overheat?

All I know is that my bed rotted out as a result of the exhaust being right there. Im looking to relocate where it dumps.
