Rear differential bearing race

89 Toyota 4x4,I am installing new bearings in my rear differential. When I removed the races for the pinion bearings I figured I would have to really knock the crap out of them but to my surprise they came out easy.Well upon inspecting the races it looked as if the races had been spinning somewhat.Has anyone had this to happen. The bearings look good i was just hearing a high pitch noise and thoght a bearing was going bad.Can I get an oversize race to go back in the case or what do i do?

Loctite makes products for exactly this purpose, if the clearances aren't too great. Might check that out.

Also, check out www.gearinstalls.com and do some reading and searching. In his many descriptions of various differential overhauls, Zuk describes this issue and how he addresses it.
