Rear diff cover.......

So my rear diff cover (yes I know its welded on) is leaking (23years of Canadian salt roads). Does anyone know of a place to get a new cover to weld on?

If I had a welded on cover that was leaking on mine, I'd be looking for an entire rear axle housing. No telling how many other thin spots there are. Maybe a photo of where it's leaking?

^ Thats not going to stop the leak, it will just leak behind the cover.

Its leaking under the little holder for the break line right? Guess how I know..

If the holes small, you can grind it clean, and jb weld it. But should replace the housing or get some metal welded over it.

The TG small armor might be a better idea:

Wink

I am looking into this I just have been so busy .

it is hard to get anything done if anyone has measurements that would be a big help. Thoughts on how thick would also be good i am looking at using a weld on pipe cap.

It seems every time I think of it there I am with clean clothing about to go someplace and I have a hard time staying clean.
