Although... I think for the time being. I'm gonna swap the 4.56 outta my 94 into the 93... the 94 has a blown transfer case, and destroyed tailgate anyway, so, its not goin anywhere anytime soon!

I will prolly just get a master rebuild kit for the 4.88, and do it right! I'm getting tired of just piecing things together to get me by...

I got lucky

I had same exact howl in my 95 4x4 pickup v6,it was the deciding factor in me getting the truck for under 2 grand.The guy told me it was the tranny.I bought it and that night in bed figured I would pull the rear end off my 86 4x4 pickup and swap it.Great feeling bolting her back together and hittin 35 mph for the first time with no noise.
