call marler auto supply inc, they have 2 one is 1300 with about 150000 on the clock and the other has almost 200000 on the clock. one is 1300 and the other is 1000 bucks, they are 54 miles from your zip code. heres the numbers 1-800-444-9707 and 1-208-523-4187.

i say clean clean clean and the weld it man easy and done then rebuild her


or clean and weld a little part of metal over the hole like a cap weld around it and call it done its not under pressure so its not that bad but i think it leaked alot of oil and thats what caused the rod to snap so get that crank checked out!!!!!

I bought two (2) Pickups for 500 each. both standard cab short bed deluxes, both 22RE 5spd, and both 4x4. both in need of engine work, but jeez, neither has rust and both have decent to good bodies, both transmissions work, and so do the transfer cases...

I knew a guy who patched a hole in a block a few years back with something called liquid glass?? I can't remember but it was a huge hole from a rod & that liquid glass held up long enough that the guy he sold it to never came back & bitched.

(yes that was a dirty thing to do but if it's any consolation to the reader, the shade tree that did it died from untreated cancer only a couple years later)
