Radiator cracked! new one?

I also have to admit the materials have to have improved I tend to compare the plastic /Aluminum radiators of 20 years ago
Back in those days the tanks seemed real brittle in very cold temps .that sort of turned me off to plastic tanks
That 20 years went by in the blink of a eye it seems
I still like the all copper and brass for the ease of fixing it is a personal choice .
I am lucky I can fix these things and have a Good Radiator shop close enough

The best prices I found at the time I was looking at the CSF's were on Amazon but they were not in stock so I turned to eBay. I know they make the 3 row and I think also a 2 row. As I mentioned in a prior post Amazon has the 2056 for 231 + free ship +tax and there is a 3rd party selling it for 216 + free shipping
So far no complaints out of the one I installed but it has only been a couple of months and only time will tell.
There are some really good threads here on yotatech about radiators, hit that search button!!!!!!!

Here's a handy link for figuring out which CSF radiator folks might want for their trucks:
https://roundforge.com/content/artic...up-or-4runner/
There's a chart towards the bottom of the page that shows all the radiators they make for older Toyota trucks.

holy forks! radiator barn sure rings a bell. i think that's where i may have gotten the one for my '86! chances are great i can find some old posts of mine asking around/talking about rad's and radiator barn's probably mentioned among them.

i think that davez offroad has the three-row csf radiators? http://www.davezoffroadperformance.c...radiators.html
lce will also have something high-end.
but really all you need is one of those cheap rockauto radiators, could probably also get it from the local flaps... i got the SPECTRA PREMIUM/COOLING DEPOT CU147 on 4/2013 and it's still working fine, knock on wood.
i've offroaded it pretty hard on my sas'd 4runner, no leaks so far.
