R1F1 and A.D.D. Tech Questions
Hi all, I have a 93 pickup 22re currently with g58, chain driven tcase and ADD. Long story short, I have a w56 and gear driven r1f1 tcase from an 87 22re 4rnr laying around that I want to swap in. The problem I'm having is with the different 4wd indicator switches on the pass side of the tcases. On my 93, the 4wd indicator is a 2 wire setup (I'm assuming bc one will have to do with the ADD, the other for the 4wd dash light), and on the 4rnr setup, it has a 1 wire 4wd indicator (no ADD). The two indicators are different in size so I can't just swap the 2 wire sensor in. I'm wondering if anyone has come across this problem as well, and what they did to the electrical to keep ADD, or if there is a sensor I can buy with the correct thread pitch and size for the 4rnr tcase but with the 2 wire setup. A wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated if someone can point me in the right direction as all I've been able to find so far is for a v6 automatic, which to my understanding has a few more sensors and different wiring on ADD models.
Thank you in advance!

Are you sure the 2nd wire on the 93 isn't just a ground? The tcase switch is just a simple spst switch to ground. The older gear drive probably just grounded through the switch body.
