Question Quick Slave Cylinder Question

About how much throw should there by iin a functioning slave cylinder. I'm almost done with my rebuild and trying to bleed the clutch. I don't get any more air bubbles both the pedal doesn't feel right and engagement is crappy.

I have checked it ISN'T a broken pedal bracket. I don't know if it is faulty slave(new) or master (relatively new) or just some more trapped air.

Try gravity bleeding it. Crack open the master reservoir, fill it up and leave the cap off then open up the bleeder on the slave. If it doesn't start dripping by it self give the pedal a small push, that'll get it going.

Olas, thank you for your reply. A method of bleeding isn't really the answer I'm looking for. Page CL-4 ofthe FSM lists a perfectly fine method. But nowhere in the entire CL chapter is a measurement of slave cylinder movement listed. Tons of referrences to pedal stroke, free play, height etc. But nothing on the hydraulic side.

It's not an issue of technique, I am looking for a measurement. I have tried both a MityVac set-up to draw fluid through and a Power Bleeder to push fluid through. I am well aware of methods to bleed a hydraulic system.
