question on the isr mod

first off i did search and know how.
working on a 1992 4runner with the 3vze and automatic, 4x4 sr5

my question is this, in doing the isr mod the way the sticky section (by BLU) says he only connects the hose from the valve cover and one of the hoses coming from the passenger side to the replacement ducting.
what about the other hose that looks like it comes from the exhaust???

also i would like to know the angle of the bend? seems others are using pvc pipe for plumbing rather than the suggested exhaust piping.

lastly i found this place when fabbing a new intake setupon my atv, prices are high but so is the quality.

There's only 2 hoses that you need to worry about, the one coming out of the driver side valve cover and the metal tube on top of the timing belt cover closest to the distributor. I don't know of a third that comes up from the exhaust, do you have a picture of that third hose?

Here's my ISR (before the motor swap) with the 2 hoses:

i will try and get apicture when the sun comes up.... but in the picture you have there are 3 fat hoses towards the left of the screen. actually looks like 2 fat ones and one skinnier one. i believe its one of those three
dont know if it makes a difference but my runner is from california. could it be extra smog crap?
