Long time 80-series Land Cruiser owner who just bought a 94 pickup. After researching this forum for info on the available idler arms, I wanted to share the info I received from Proforged.

They list 102-10052 for
4Runner 1986-1991, and Pickup 1986-1995

While the 102-10045 is for
4Runner 1992-1995, and T100 1993-1998

I sent an email to them asking about differences, and they responded quickly with the following:
"After reviewing there are some dimensional differences in the height and length on these arms.
They are not interchangeable and we suggest you purchase the 102-10052."

Wanted to include this here as I remain confused as other manufacturers list the same idler arm for all of these vehicles. Hopefully this helps others and/or leads to some discussion that will help others.

 

That is interesting. I checked on RockAuto and most of them say (Moog):
TOYOTA 4RUNNER 1986-1995 TOYOTA PICKUP 1986-1995 TOYOTA T100 1993-1998.

However some are (Mevotech):
TOYOTA 4RUNNER 1992-1995 TOYOTA PICKUP 1986-1995 TOYOTA T100 1993-1998

Why did it change for the 4runner?

They pretty much all refence OEM p/n 4549039365 which Toyota shows fitting 1991-95 trucks/4runners ...

EDIT: the one thing I just noticed on RockAuto is a different p/n for trucks and 4runners before 1991 with manual steering.
