problems again...gas

problems again...gas

still have a gas leak... i just replaced all the o-rings and most of the fuel line last week on the injectors. i didnt have the smell for a little while. actually a few days... then i started smelling it again after this time tho i cannot find out where the leak is at. i really dont want to take it to toyota either. but i need something to drive while i fix my truck or i get it fixed.

if anyone has any help for me please let me know...

oh i spent 3 days and 3 nights on waht i thought was fixing my truck before.

any help is good guys!

Make sure you are using OEM TOYOTA o-rings...there are slight differences between them and the ones you buy at the auto part store on the corner....

I have seen non-OEM o-rings leak right at the injector.

You should NOT drive the truck until you fix it unless you think watching your truck burn or blow up is cool.


Also re-check all your fittings on the new line for leaks

did you take the hard lines off the injector runners, if so did you install a new crush washer?

just go key on and jumper the fuel pump and wait and see where its comeing from and then you can fix it if you smell it then you can see it!!!

The pulse dampers on the rear of the pass side fuel rail are known to leak when the set screw in back comes out
