Problem AC

So I have a friend who has a 1995 toyota 4runner v6, and is having problems with the Air Conditioning. When he turns it on, it initially blows cold air. Then, five minutes into the cooling, it starts to blow the outside air. We checked the system and it has good psi. Any help or suggestions would be sweet. Thanks!

I would take a look around the A/c system and check all the electrical connections. I was having the exact opposite problem... pressure was good, but it would blow hot for 5 minutes.. then the compressor would kick on and it would be icey. Turns out there is a resistor that I missed when I was checking over the system... that the wires are broken off of. $32 from the stealer, and it is fixed.
