My buddy has a stock toyota 4x4 standard cab short bed i think its a 92 and wants to lift it. i recently added all new suspension and lift to my toyota and it handles bumps well and has great travel. my buddy wants the same with his IfS. I have heard of getting A arms off Porshe SUV's and swapping them out. supposedly it gives you great pre-runner travel for under half the cost of a fab tech or custom job. any info is great and links are great. thanks

I have heard of guys using porche cv axles in long travel applications. But not the actual a-arms.

Pony up the cash and buy a quality kit.

 

i think he should buy a good kit like on Downey off-road. it is over 2 grand but worth it. he is looking for a cheap way to do it. i would save up and get something professionaly done.
