Power Steering Fluid Amount

I searched for the answer to this question in rebuild threads and other power steering threads, but could not find the answer. I am replacing the high pressure power steering hose on my 1989 VZE 2wd pickup.

Does anyone know about how much ATF fluid I should buy beforehand in order to refill the whole system after draining it?

Thanks in advance...

I found someone saying between 1 and 2 quarts in another thread. Hope that's right and can help someone else too.

Works for hydro assist too.
