Unhappy Power/hot wire from AC compressor...?

I have searched for a while and went one last time right before post the thread..

I replaced the FMS and oil pump and pan gaskets last week and somehow the power wire to the AC compressor has been disconnected and I cannot find where it plugs in.. if I straight wire it to the battery it kicks in and I REALLY want ac asap. its an 86 pick carb manuel. I looked in the hanes manual but got very confused so if someone can give me a detailed location and/or picks before I goto the pick and pull tomorrow that would work great.. in case ur wonder the AC harress in dash was my first fix now this and its gettin in the 80s fast!

Thanks,

Thomas

The engine harness should have a single wire plug for it dangling down by the front of the intake.

I looked in the location you said but I do not see any free connections, can you possible provide a pic or give a bit more detail? One single pin connect but its connecting to what appears to be the intake?

Thomas and thank you!

well i searched for about an hour over the weekend and found the harness where its suppose to be but somehow its not or to my knowledge never there. found an 87 in the local picknpull and seen what you were talking about.. I currently have it straight wired to a toggle switch until I can locate/decide if I wanna spend an engine bay harness...

Anyone know where I can get parts to restore the interior.. its a heap of a mess...??
