Awesome thread. Good reference also. For when these rigs are fs and the ad says "never off-roaded".

Noob here, just picked up a 89 4runner sr5 v6 and auto, picked it up so I could still have some fun while my Datsun Z is being built. Not in the best shape(high idle, little oil leak, wonky shifting at freeway speeds, etc) but it's something I can manage -- This is the first truck I've ever owned out of the 17 years I've been driving...how about that.

My buddy's f350 will have nothing on me when I put 2in ball joint spacers up front, a new set of sky jacker leaf springs in back + an AAL and 35x12.5 tires.

You can fit 35's right now, why do AAL or even lift it any more than it is already?

The AAL is i guess optional. I'd like to put the spacers up front so it'll be about leveled out when I get the new leaf springs in. I have the parts to lift it an additional 2 inches all around right now but I may just wait and see how she looks when I splurge for the new tires at the end of the summer or middle of the fall this year.

Yeah you have a bracket lift. soon to be bj spacers and something else to lift it 2 more inches and you only want to run 35s? Why so tall? that will be enough to clear 40s?

Thanks man. I'm ready to hit the trails with it but I have to wait for our ridiculous amounts of snow to melt to get to any of the good trails!

Create an account with a media hosting site (most use Photobucket.com), upload your picture, and copy/paste the IMG code here.

If the above does not make sense. Go on youtube and search. You'll see step by step how to there...

Is BFG making a new All Terrain? They say BFGoodrich All-Terrains, but they have a different tread pattern. I've seen those only once before and that was a year ago.
