*250,XXX MILES*

13-14 mpg city driving, 17mpg highway

and is anyone else's speedometer inaccurate? when my speedo reads 65mph, my buddy tells me (in the car next to me, totally stock) that i'm going 80mph

Its because you have it geared. Are the 31s the stock size? That will affect the speedo also. Mine is off pretty good like too. But mines only like 5-10 mph off.

My truck is getting about 17mpg. I try not to take it past 2.5k RPMs, but with how slow it is, sometimes its hard, lol.

Well you should have 4.88 gears with the 31" tires. So your speedo will show a little slow. I bet both your guys speedos are off...

My 83 got about 175-200 miles to a tank. And in mpg I have gotten from 13 to almost 20 mpg. But it all depends on how you drive the truck. I have the 22r (I hate carbs never again will I buy a car or truck with a carb) 5 speed stick shift 2 inch body lift 2 inch spring lift 4 inchs total of lift. 33 inch mudders 4.88 gears Trutrac locker in the rear.

I have a 95 3.0 4runner everything stock, I'm running 31's right now, I have 2 12" subs in the back, and I keep the spare tire in, and with idling in the morning for 10-15 minutes to warm it up as it hasn't been above freezing more than twice in the last two months, I'm averaging 13-14 mpg. I have before pushed it to 20 mpg's and that was some really steep and winding hills averaging about 60-70mph. I find, which makes absolute sense just making a point, that if I drive 55 I get extremely better gas mileage. When I start getting much fast than 65, that's when the mileage starts really going down.

Stock 1990 v6 auto 4x4 averaged 18.5mpg best and 13mpg worst. The worst included mostly driving around town. I need to replace my fuel filter but I don't know how much that will help. I've also got a cap on but it's fiberglass so I don't think that hurts much.
