Post pics of modified lower valances
Okay, so a recent thread by BIGTRCKNWHEELS inspired me to ask what people have done to modify there lower valence on 3rd gen trucks. Post up some pics of your modified valences or what you have put in place (if anything) of the valence on your truck. Or, what you would do.

Heres mine. I tried to follow the lines of the valance when trimming. The drivers side was crunched 100% flat so its still dented up. But the passenger side is what im going after, also if I could do it again. I wouldve left the top part so it would wrap around the bumper, not stop at the front (if that made sence) Looks fine from head on, but a little wierd from the side.

Not a 3rd Gen, but...
The 3" BL allows the lights to fit flush in there. Brackets were welded to the frame to mount. The lights are a fog pattern. In hindsight, I would rather of had a driving light pattern, due to the location on the truck. Fogs are better towards the outside, I think.

My story is this;
the truck belonged to my cousin who put a new engine and clutch in and then got high and slid it into a barricade. His dad (my uncle) wrote the title over to me for $1.00 (but he would not even take that) it runs like clockwork but needs some serious help. the valance is just one of the things...
here is a better view:

i really like your valance, i think i might copy it for my trilights if i cant get some custom holes further towards the sides and filled wth fiberglass, similar to a new vehicle.
