Looks like it came with the kit... it was on it when I bought it. Looks like something that could be fabbed up in a garage shop though.

I like your wheel set-up! I have been debating 33 x 10.5 or 12.5, but with IFS 10.5 seems more practical and less stressful on the steering. What is your wheel offset / width ? I'm leaning to 15 x 8 with a 3.5 offset, BFG All terrain for just a tad of poke. Do you have any fender / tire pics ?

I like your build, I consider that a beefed up IFS ! Doing same to my '94.5 extra-cab pick-up. I really like the 10.5 width for an IFS. You are also set-up with a 15x 8 wheel and 3.75 backspace correct ? 3.75 or 3.5 seems ideal for a 10.5 tire, widens up the rig a little bit, less tippy when lifted. Great set-up and specs !

hey guys, love all the pics, over the years Ive had 1inch bj spacers in my rig, since removed them and replaced the UCA as the area around the back bolts of the bj spacer started to crack from lots of desert driving
ive just installed 1in bj spacers in my bro in laws 4runna and lowered the t bars a tad nice and relaxed as they are hd items, however even with a wheel alignment the front tyres have a much different look, they are certainly more positive camber then I remember. does everyone know what can be done to correct the camber? will the tyres wear out, it feels a little bit twitchy on the road also, its got a bit more lift then mine, as rear has cruizer coils and the hd t bars even fully relaxed sit quite high
just looks wierd
how does a 1.5 or 2" spacer look after wheel alignments??

Hey man! I put my spacers in last year and had some issues with the alignment after. I believe it was the toe-in or something where the issue was (by "toe-in" i mean a V shape to the tires). I took it to a standard auto shop and of course they did the boneheaded thing - which was hook it up to the machine and when the computer read alignment in the "green zone" they called it a day and tried to give it back even though it was visually still out. After 3 alignments this way I finally managed to convey the importance of doing this alignment by hand due to the modifications and then they finally got it as close as possible. In the last year it seems to have settled into perfect alignment now.

Main advise here would be to do it yourself or make sure the mechanic is aware and maybe even experienced with lifted vehicles. Hope that gives some sort of insight.

Cheers
Kael

I've got a 95 Hilux Surf, I just imported it into Canada in May and I've been busy. Rough country 5" lift, 80 series 3" lift coils, adj. panhard, superlift axle arm drop brackets, etc. I really hate how weak the steeing and suspension is in the front though, My truck has been aligned twice already and it still wanders all over the road with virtually new everything in terms of steering components. I'm thinking of tightening the steering box up a bit.

As purchased...

Here's the 90 that I am building... BJ spacers and 4" Procomp coils with Rancho lift shocks and extended brake lines all 'round. Currently sitting on the 31's on 15x10's it came with, waiting to swap my 33" Durango MT's to the rims and install factory 4.88's, rear spool and manual hubs.

I am in the process of removing the stock running boards, body work and rear bumper build with 2 fuel cans and spare tire carrier...

Ya I know the ass is high, but that should settle a bit once the coils are broke in and the with the weight of the bumper, spare and 2 5gal jerry cans full of fuel, recovery gear, sub etc....
