Post-HG issues...

Just finished swapping a head gasket and timing chain on a 90 22re and ran into a few issues that I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction on.

1. I connected the negative battery cable and started it up but now when I turn the truck off and remove the key, the radio and clock stay on?!?!

2. The oil pressure guage doesnt work. Where is the oil pres sender?

3. The volt guage reads very high (close to 18) on the dash.

Other than that the truck runs strong and smooth. Thanks for the help along the way!

Andy

As I recall, the oil pressure sender is below the oil filter...or else above it. That general area, anyway - if you go in through the wheel well, you should be able to see it.

I left mine disconnected when I did my HG, it's easy to miss.

Afraid I can't help on the accessory power thing.
