Poor MPG

93 3VZE, 113,000 mile automatic in a Toyota RV, about 6000 pounds total.

Before this trip I did a DIY valve adjustment and checked the compression, I do not have the #'s with me but the compression was well withn specks.

I do not tract MPG as I don't want to know but would guess in the 13 mpg range in all my last trips. This trip the MPG was noticeably down, so after a couple tanks I checked and first checked tank was under 10! I added a can of Techtron injector cleaner and not sure if that did anything or not but the best I am doing is 11.5 mpg. Most report 12 to 14 avg mpg in these rigs, trying to run the speed limit on interstates.

The rig is running great, had a noticeable improvement in performance after valve adjustment and starts and runs great, no noticeable performance issues. No misfires, no fuel leaks, nothing.

So I am at a complete loss as where to start looking. Any input, suggestions, ideas, advice or wisecracks greatly appreciated.

I have a 93 pickup with 345,000 km on it. Cleaning the O2 sensor and changing the fuel filter made a big difference in power. I haven't checked the economy figures because I don't care.
