Poll: Should I dye my soft top blue?

I’ve been thinking about dying my soft top a dark blue. Also adding a wider blue pinstripe.
should I dye it? Or leave it alone?

If the soft top dyes well, I think it would look great!

I am about to pick up a new-in-the-box old Kayline that is black and has never been installed. I think I will dye the black one blue, and hand the white one down to the GooRunner, which is red. White will look better on red, and I’ll get the brand new scratch-free windows on the beach truck.

Dyeing it was suggested by an upholstery shop when i asked if they could reproduce the white one in blue.
My plan is to use SEM marine vinyl dye in the color Admiral Blue. It is in spray cans.

How will the lighter color blue show over the darker black? Is this stuff more like paint or do I not know how dye works?

it is like a paint. I believe the top will come with some black vinyl sleeves that cover the support tubes so I plan to try the dye out on those first.
