Hi my buddy just bought a 89 22re pick up there is something sparking under the hood, drivers side under the hood between brake fluid and power steering cylenders. He said it only sparks when its warm and is sparking between 2 nuts. the canister looks similar to a charcoal canister but is not one

 

Most likely a loose ground wire if it was from the positive side it would you hope open a fuse.

Find just what is arcing and go from there .
