Pic of where the camshaft sits. Check it out!!

Pulled the camshaft out of my 4runner. For how crummy it looked on the inside, it's amazing the thing ran as well as it did.


So, it's off to engnbldr.com we go!!! Obviously, will be getting a new cylinder head and cam, gaskets, and will also pick up the timing chain stuff and oil pump rebuild.

Hey, somebody has to keep the economy moving!!

Here's another pic. Weird how the two back exhaust lifters are all gummed up. Dang Quaker State oil, anyway!!! Or, who knows.

dont matter what oil u use if its changed every 3k it wouldnt do that. but i wouldnt use quakerstate or pennzoil in my lawnmower. sorry about the prob. though,hope you get it fixed.

I think the truck was used to haul Airstream campers with. Oh well. Throw enough money at it, and we'll get it to run right!!
