Paper gasket between tranny and t-case?

So I'm replacing my tranny and when I separated the tranny and t-case after I pulled them out, I found a paper gasket thing there. It tore in one spot or I would probably reuse it, but I haven't been able to find anything about it at the parts stores. What's the deal on this? Could I use RTV if I have to, or do I need to find this damned gasket?

you can find it at the dealership for super cheap, or you can use a high quality RTV sealer as well.

Okay, I guess the dealership would have more of a clue than the parts store guys. I'll swing by in the morning. Any idea as to what they call it there?

Scrape the old one off and take the pieces with you.

Some pics here for reference and on the installation pages.

Dealer knew exactly what I meant. $1.99 for the gasket, $35 for a new rear main seal. Couldn't ask for a better day of wrenching - everything just went smoothly, it was awesome. I need to fix my downpipe (cracked in half - exhaust leak much?) and fill the tranny and tcase and I will be good to go.
