be sure you check the number on the box before you tear your axle down. They sent me one that was wrong. Their customer service was awesome though. They next day air shipped the correct one to me and included a paid shipping return...

Man, you should have bought a Lock Right... my Aussie locker just broke in half took out everything from the T case down...my U joints, R&P, spider gears, both axle shafts...It was just carnage. And this all happened on the street.

And jay forgot to mention that that is on Dry pavement. Imagine what happens in the rain, or the snow.

Oh I know! Last time I was in the rain my truck spun around so fast it almost created lift!

I know that happens to me too, but its much scarier, since im in a top heavy 4runner.

don't forget all the negative side effects of the locker. Ive even heard mine go "pop, clunk, slam, click click click" so i pulled out my diff, and noticed all these funky marks on my ring and pinon. uh oh.

In all seriousness, it will be GREAT!

Aussies are supposed to be a little quieter, stronger, smoother, more polite on the road and about the same price. Lock Right is more of a Mr. Hyde. Lock Right does, however, make a locker for trucks with the V6 or 22rTe (turbo).

True, I haven't had a problem with my lockright.

I helped install a aussie locker into a friends 4cyl. And for the test drive it was pretty loud, the clicking was a lot more audible than the lockright i have. But idk if the lockers need a break in period.

Woo got upgraded to 2nd day air for only $12.00 when I called em today. They'll either be here late tomorrow or early Wednesday.

And why yall acting like I'm scared of it? I've had either spooled or lincoln locked rear-ends on all of my yoters. Only reasons I went with aussies this time instead, was so I'd save some tire life and to not pull 360s without meaning to on the road with any amount of rain.

My luck though, they probably WILL catch my truck on fire everytime I turn a corner for some reason. Lol
