Awesome. I wonder if discount tire would have a problem with me ordering them on my own and taking them in to have them installed.

Or would it be best to have discount tire pricematch? I'm just curious, why didnt you have a local tire store that price matches order and install the tires for you?

im sure your tire place would mount and balance the tires for you and charge the standard mounting and balancing fee. im sure they wouldn't price match an re-tread with an new tire. if you have bought a lot of tires with one tire shop you might be able to get them to order them from treadwright and have them shipped to there location so you don't have to handle any of that, but you would have to talk to the owner and see.

Do all 4 tires show the same brand, ie: All 4 of yours read Bridgestone Dueler A/T, or are they mixed brands?

They are retreads, they use shells of BFG, Goodyear, Bridgestone, etc. but the caps are retread.

well iv put about 100 miles on them so far, and quite impress they ride nice they have a little bit of an hum but not bad at all for an mud tires iv had worse. they seem to do real well in fresh snow and on ice they are surprisingly good as well for being an mud tire. so far im very impressed with these tires.

OK... First of all what are you thinking running re-treads? do you want to crash and burn in a fiery grave. that is a horriable idea. and second if the tire guy who mounted up your tires knew anything about what he was doing he would be able to see where the tread and casing were bonded together. NO OFFENSE but you must of called around and found the cheapest person to mount and balance your tires.

search around many people are running treadwright tires they are acctually very popular I have not read one bad review and some are on their third set, they acctuallty say that they balance better than any BFG. these retread are not the same as semi retread and these come with a warranty

i think you may be a little behind the times. Treadwrights have a failure rate equal or less than a "new" tire.

No discount tire will not price match, I asked..... don't even get me started on the amount of crap the salesman started spouting when I told him I was looking at retreads.

Wow, 4 posts and you're already an expert........

Do some searching, take a look at the treadwright site, do some more searching, etc. Correct information is a pretty useful tool.

Welcome to Yotatech.
