Is this an option for changing trans fluid?

hi all last night i took the top of my trans off inspecting the pins for the shifters and the conditions of the springs and o rings and such... i noticed my trans fluid seem a little low and discolored... i have gotten a new exhaust put on recently and i noticed that they ran my pipe right in front of my check/fill plug for my trans. Ill be able to get an open end wrench on it but i see it being a real pain to fill.... so my question is since i already have top all taken off could i drain then remove fill plug and fill with fluid til it reaches plug? -thanks W56 trans MT-90 redline 4qts

No doubt. I wish all the problems on here were that easy!
