lol, Now that's what i call an attention getter, lol. Seriously though, i was doing my routine search of my infamous lean reading and checked out the vacuum pressure on the hose that runs from the charcoal canaster to the ttv evap or whatever its called. Well i found that the ttv wasnt holding vacuum on either of the hoses so i figured i would investigate further. took the plenum off and tried to disconnect the hoses from ttv. top one came off ok but the bottom one snapped on me
. to add icing to the cake, i couldnt figure out how to get the darn thing off either. so finally i just ended up capping off the line going from the throttle body to the ttv and put everything back together.
so heres my question to you (btw, i know ive seen a thread on this but i cant find it) how do i remove this ttv without taking apart the fuel rail?
Also, is running it unconnected for now a bad thing?
and what does it cost to replace one of those things?

If i were you i would go pull one out of a junk rig at a junk yard. Like everyone always says its there for a reason and toyota engineers do it to confuse us.
