oil pump issue

Ok finished my motor of sept of 09(22re). I think it leaked from the get go seems to leak right at the bottom between the 2 bottom bolts. It's only 8 months old and was bought from engbldr. I just took it all apart and put it back together with a new gasket and it is still leaking a little bit, was real bad before i replaced the outside gasket. Ok question how or why is this happening i checked the pump with a str8 edge seems fine. I'm stumped don't know if i should be calling engbldr or what to do. Any suggestions or anyone else run into this problem.

When I put my oil pump I used rtv silicone on one of the bolts ,If you don't it will leak . I also put a bead around the oil pump . You have to put rtv on the bolt above the front oil seal on the left side . .

Are you sure the oil is coming from the pump/cover junction itself and not running down to there from the front seal?

That's another possibility , I remember that I had to buy a repair sleeve ( also called
" speedi sleeve" ) do a search on google . for the harmonic balancer . It just A circular aluminum sleeve that makes A tighter fit and stops it from leaking ,but that's only if it's leaking from the front seal.

i'm pretty sure it is coming from between the 2 bottom bolts. I did rvt the one bolt they say too. my harmonic balance was dry no oil on that so i think that seal is good, plus i can see the oil weeping from the area in question. i guess i can try to take it off and rvt around the whole pumps outer edge.
